The first cause of mortamity in Sub-saharan Africa and Cameroon is still malaria to this day. It seems absurd when we know that the three-day pills treatment against malaria
only cost 3,500 Francs CFA / USD $ 5.5 / Euro € 5.
Yet many people still cannot afford this treatment and die of the desease.
In 2021 alone, 600,000 people died from malaria in Africa with 11,000 people dying of malaria every year in Cameroon, mainly children.
To tackle this ridiculously high number of deaths, the Francis Ngannou Foundation has distributed more than 2,300 three-day treatment to families around Cameroon.
